Spain owns a wide variety of attractions and things to do that include eating at the tapas bars and restaurants on Las Rambles in Barcelona, relaxing on the beaches in the Costa del Sol or Cost Brava and visiting the wilderness and wetlands of Donana National Park in Andalucía. Golfing is incredibly popular with some world class courses, many in Murcia.

When to go to the Spain and Weather

The mild Spanish climate ensures you can visit the country at any time of the year, but the ideal months would be between April and November. The all round high temperatures of the south coast and the Mediterranean ensure you can enjoy a beach holiday in the usually cold European winter months.

The Spanish currency is now the Euro, after converting from Pesetas in 2002. The country is famous for its affordability, and this is a major attraction for holidaymakers seeking a quality vacation for cheap prices.


The more developed European nations of the United Kingdom, Germany and Scandinavia do not need to apply for a visa beforehand and can enter the country directly from immigration.
